LEGO OCTOPUS UPDATE!

| Sep 16, 2011
Remember the secretive and mysterious LEGO Octopus project we first heard about almost a year ago? Just as you could expect, Octopus was only a codename, and the actual project is called REBRICK, as you can see on the now updated website. You can´t do more than you could on the old website as it is still in closed beta, but this update and change of name and looks should clearly indicate that the project is alive, and that we may hear more about it very soon.

Does not really look like an MLN replacement imho

I'm really looking forward to this. I reckon it will be a huge success after the failure of LEGO Universe (profits wise).

@SKP4472
Hm. I doubt it will be a replacement for LU. Out of curiosity, do you have a link you can post showing LU to be a monetary failure?

@Vanderdecken12 I never said it would be a replacement for LEGO Universe, just a reason for why they should work on something new to entice LEGO fans.

Anyways, here are two links suggesting that LEGO Universe hasn't done as well as expected:

Ah, okay. Yeah, I always felt it was pricey for the content they were offering. Thank you for the links!

They changed the website again, but this time it is just a form with one input. We can also access the website with rebrick.lego.com.

@Hobino

I know you are part of the LKIC, so...

Are you able to access the rebrick website? Or have they even made it viewable to LKIC members?

They've been updating the website, and that the login HAS got a code to it, the new site writes "The new site has moved to rebrick.lego.com" meaning there is a use for the blank login pages.
