BradFord Rant Institute Of Cosmic Kinesis

I, Vanderdecken12, and Cheshirecat150, along with our family, went to the LEGO store at Disneyland's Downtown Disney this morning to see the seventh, and final, LEGO Universe Pod. We were about the 20th people there. The pod was set up as the picture shows on the right. Just as advertised, there were shirts and an LU Beta Test email form for anybody who knew to say 'Pod-7'. They will be there for the rest of the day, so if anybody is close enough to Disneyland, they should definitely go check it out.

So you were unable to get the pod? Well hey, you guys get to test LU, so it's still pretty cool!

Good Job guys!

Buge said... [REPLY]

You didn't get the pod I presume?
Did you get the ID?

And were you there when it landed? If so, how did it land, did someone just stick it in a case?

flipz says he got

No, I didn't get the pod. It was in the case when I found it. I was more like the 20th person there. I saw flipz there. We chatted.

Sweet. I mean, there's Six Billion people in the world, and only Seven pods? You're real lucky to even see it.

Uh, by the way, this is a little off topic, but the Lego Atlantis site is now scheduled to go online tomorrow, not today. (Sorry, I already said that on another post, just don't know if you've read it yet)

Can you try to give us the pods id so we can enter it?

Shark said... [REPLY]

They moved the Atlantis site to Jan. 5th, unless it already was and I wasn't paying attention...

Sim533 said... [REPLY]

ARRGG, they moved it?! I still see January 4 on the site.

aadams2121 - No!!! If you want to get the POD ID then go take a look by yourself.

Vanderdecken12 said... [REPLY]

Yeah, Sim's right about the pods (though it does sound harsh). Regardless, entering the code doesn't do much, so you don't have to be worried about missing something.

You Guys are really lucky to have seen the pod! I wish that I could have been there just to see it! Does anyone know what the point of the pods are though? Why is LEGO doing it?
P.S. Could you please be my friend on MLN Vanderdecken?

Vanderdecken12 said... [REPLY]

The theory is that LEGO is doing it to promote LU. It's a good method, I'll tell you that.

Sure, I just sent you an FR.

Thanks Vanderdecken! I just accepted It!! Yay!

Hey guys. I figured out the rest of the codes. Just so you can start working on it, the last "four letter" code is...MANS. I've been working on trying to figure it out, and can't. Bugefun, (and everyone else) I know you pretty awesome with puzzles, so if you could help that's be great. See you soon guys!

Buge said... [REPLY]

As far as I know, there is nothing against sharing the ID, but it doesn't make a difference really.
I was able to enter the ones for 2, 4 (obviously), and 5.

I tried to figure out the codes a little bit. They don't seem to work as an alpha testing key, because that doesn't let O's or I's. It could have LEGO, but not Universe, because there is no U.

That is so cool that you got to see the Pod.
I bet the Pods are worth a lot of money, especially because they are so rare. I think LEGO would have gotten even more publicity if more Pods where released and if they were released over summer break. Mainly because the LEGO centers and stores where they were released would already be filled with the kids that would be playing LU and begging their parents to pay for memberships.
