I'm not sure if you've heard, but there is an ARG (Alternate Reality Game) as a promotion for LEGO Universe by LEGO. It is at http://bradfordrant.org/B.R.I.C.K claims they are scientists finding LEGO pods falling from space. There will be 7 total, the first was found by the institute at LEGOLand, Denmark. The second was found by a kid at the LEGO Imagination center at Orlando, Florida, on Thursday. You get to keep the pod if you find it, and it they are worth a ton because they come with a bunch of exclusive pieces. The pods 3-7 will be found in places of creativity (LEGO places) throughout the world. They say a pod will be within a square of coordinates on the Globe.
Pod 3 will come by Dec. 16 and
will be around Texas, see here for coordinates. The coordinates will keep getting closer together until they center on a LEGO place. Then they will then announce the day. When you get there, there will be a case with a cover over it, you wait (maybe for hours) by the case until it gets uncovered by an employee, they you shout the name of the pod (pod 3). The first person to shout gets the pod. There is a rumor that only kids can get it, but that has been denied. The other people there get free shirts. Also, I heard that there is an extra bonus for whoever gets the pod. Be aware, for pod 2, there were already 10 people waiting to get the pod when the store opened, and more came after that. Also take pictures and video. There are also some puzzles on the site, a map of LEGO Universe, pictures of the pods, and other things to solve.
Yay, my first post.

wow pods landing in places awesome. I wish I could find one but I can't.
This next pod had BETTER be in my area. And hopefully no one in TX cares about it, and hopefully your cousins, Bugefun, don't get to it first. ;)
I bet I'll never get one, though. :P
Not with that attitude :-)
(Nice post, Bugefun. I think it's the first one on this site with a real person in a picture)
@ Vanderdecken12
Exactly. I think I'll just watch the race. :)
I don't really know what to think about ARGs. on one hand, they're really cool. on the other hand, they're kind of creepy.
Thanks.
I just realized, the map is wrong, and the coordinates actually extend up to Mall of America.
@ Bugefun
Congrats on your first post!
Cookie points for you! :P
I love< cookies. You got any extra? :-)
Awesome first post!!!
Congrats on your first post, Bugefun!
LOL! I thought one of you changed the pictures to censor the people, but actually the images on the site changed and since these were hotlinked, they changed! Now the aspect ration on the new ones is messed up. That is funny.
i bet there won't be any i the north of the UK :(
There are still some pods left. Maybe there would be one at the top of the UK.
And welcome to the blog!
dobbins2299. I bet there wo'nt be any in nebraska:( guys wish me luck i am going to try out for frist chair in band see ya.
well, i really doubt i'd get one in my area, if there was a pod somewhere there. i'm horrible with crowds, even if there was one. plus, it wouldn't be in my exact location, so i wouldn't spend half a day to get there and then realising someone already claimed it...
It wouldn't make sense for all the pods to happen to land in the USA, if they were falling out of space.
I'm pretty sure that the pods will only land at LEGO places. Such as LEGOLAND, Imagination centers, discovery centers, and stores. Those are not only in the USA. Especially since the first (demo) pod was in Denmark.
dobbins2299. stuning news!! there is a new them toy story theres a good post. p.s. i got first chair!
We already know that for months but we didn't posted it yet...
I think you're right, Bugefun.
The new toy story theme does look really neat. It's awesome that Lego and Disney are joining forces.
I just got an e-mail with my lego universe activation key in it.
Great, Micah. Are you able to start playing the game yet?
Has anyone else received the activation key?
