There will be soon a new version of Lego Digital Designer. It will be in some days. Hopefully it's better than version 2.3 that has problems all time.
The new version contains
- more lego bricks
- a place where you could create your own box
- make new models to show on MLN in your factory module
- ...
If you now have version 2.3 installed on your computer, then you only need to open the program and it will update. Hopefully we not have to wait very long to upgrade :)

is no need to. Just like earlier; all models will be on display for 12

Good, I'm glad they're getting an update! I've always had problems working with it. Now, are we going to eventually loose all our other models?
No, all your creation that are uploaded will be on the server. They are not saved on your computer. So you couldn't loose them. Hopefully, you could open your old models in LDD 3.0

That's good. Whenever I open mine, there is an "error" and the program closes automatically.
dobbins2299. guys have you notice that count dookos light saber handle is differnt from the others?
Does anyone think it's possible that the new LDD will incorporate the "make your own LEGO minifigure head" that there was a question about in MLN a LONG time ago?

dobbins, dooku's lightsaber hilt is actually supposed to be different. i have a really old lego set including him in it, and while i've lost the minifigure, i still have the lightsaber. in the star wars series, his lightsaber handle is curved too.
and sim, even if you lose your uploaded creations, you probably will still have the original file for LDD to reupload it. unless, of course, LDD 3 doesn't support backwards-compatibility. if not, you could probably just chuck a lot of pieces in an interesting pattern like i did. =P
Hey, On your sidebar not all of the quiz thing is being shown. With your new background I would recomend changing your pixels wide on your google docs form on the quiz in order to have all of it fit on the side and don't worry doing that doesn't squish everything together it just moves stuff to the next line.

i'm not sure about this, but i think maybe samuel is referring to the new star wars picture at the products page.
It's there already for a week. Maybe he's talking about that. But i'm not sure...
