True, this picture has been there since the beginning, but the "pirates vs. ninja" challenge in LU definitely backs up the suspicion. As well as the fact that people thought a a couple months ago (see way earlier post) that there would be pirate networkers because of a new soundtrack. I don't think it's too unlikely, anyway.
Pirates and Ninjas?

Some people on LEGO were tossing around the idea that the new LU networkers would be pirates and ninjas. Initially, I didn't give the idea much thought, until...I noticed that, when you are not signed in, and click on the MY LEGO NETWORK tab (to the right of my LEGO PUBLiC VIEW,) it displays 3 pictures. One shows a minifigure triumphantly holding up his LEGO "page", with the words "Create! Your own page". the next shows "collect and trade" with a picture of all the items, and the third says Make! new friends" with a picture of, what else, a pirate and a ninja.

I think they launched in February new pirates networker(s) if the game is online.
Or it is a new rank (11). Where you can choose the ninja or the pirates.
An example is rank 8.
Good observation. I do hope it's in February. Also, there is a new game in the Pirate section. Maybe that will be released with the Agori game at the same time.
If so, we may be seeing quite a bit of new stuff in February.
I'm not sure about it being a new rank. Remember, Prof Brickkeeper said that we need the Creation Lab badge to be friends with the new networker(s). That probably means that there won't be any other requirements to being friends with him, so you probably won't have to be rank 10.
Playing Ninja vs. Pirates would be pretty cool. We'll have to pick sides and team up to beat it, but that will be on my trade blog.
I also hopes they released new arcade module, pirates and ninja networkers, universe networkers and last but not least the agori ranks in February.
But i didn't think they all released in a month.
We see what MLN has for the future.
Yes, that would be very intersting.
I think it'd be the first time (maybe second) where I'd have to decide what I wanted to do first in MLN.
The best thing you can do in Mln is having and helping friend gaining ranks and then you make a relationships with sombody whole life
You don't want to ever get to be too good friends with them. Remember, someday we're going to stop playing MLN (when we have to get jobs or something).
I was wondering, can you tell me how many transparent and how many gray bricks you have?
Yes, there would be a time that MLn doesn't exist.
Now i have 284 grey bricks to short
And about 189 transparant brick to short for i can gain a rank
