Well, considering On Stranger Tides is coming out next year, I'd say that there's a good chance that they are making Pirates of the Caribbean sets. Prince of Persia was made by the same people, and LEGO already has a deal with them. They probably put Jack there as a subtle preview to their upcoming lineup.

I've been thaught about this for a long time

Another thing: the LEGO pirates line seems to have been rather abruptly ended, seeming to also point out a PotC line
